The National Security Inspectorate’s (NSI) Auditor; Emma Farrow recently released the Visit Report for Advantage One Security’s NSI Audit, approving the National Security Company for the NSI’s Gold Award for Security Guarding, making it the 7th Year Advantage One has been approved for this award. 

NSI approval is a highly respected and trusted hallmark in the security and fire sectors, demonstrating technical expertise and a reassuring quality of service. Guarding approval appeals to the elite in the security services sector.

NSI Guarding Gold is designed for companies who meet the industry’s highest technical standards and maintain a commitment to continual improvement with an ISO 9001 Quality Management System. 

Emma Farrow conducted a Audit to determine continued conformity and verify compliance with aspects of the NSI Scope, including the Provision of Static Site Guarding Services, the Provision of Retail Static Guarding Services and the Provision of Keyholding and Response Services.

During this Audit Mrs Farrow identified 3 Good Practice notes. “it is extremely unusual issuing 3 in a single Audit” Emma told to the team at the time of the Audit.

Two were awarded for Training; “Good Practice – 12 week initial training programme has been set up for all staff dependant on job role which can be extended to 16 weeks if further training s required. Good Practice – All updated training and policies have been made available for staff on the AIP system”

The third was awarded for People: “Good Practice – Individuals have to complete a telephone interview where they are scored on criteria and feedback is given to candidates who do not make it to the next interview round”.
